When I was in high school, I took a trip to New Orleans after Katrina hit. It was a very devastating experience yet insightful and strengthening. We stayed for a week, each day we worked from dust to dawn gutting out homes. Check out some of the footage from my first trip to New Orleans. I went back to New Orleans a year later to also help rebuild. In due time I will go back again!
