Networking 101 with Wahidah (Socializing)

How to Network with people at a Networking event…

-If no one knows who you are, that can be a great thing. Don’t sweat it, this is your chance to start off with a clean slate! Show them who you envision yourself being!

-No matter how corny it sounds, practice how you will go about introducing yourself. A positive first impressions is essential when meeting new people!

-Make individuals feel like they should get to know who you are due to your attitude and energy!

-You have some type of gift, this meaning, you have something that makes you UNIQUE! SHINE and give the world a present just by being in your company.

-You have something to offer, you just have to know how to find it and sell it! Don’t be afraid to shine. Don’t hold back, when holding back you are stunting your growth.

-Take the initiative to approach someone that you need in order to get ahead, show them why you are the right person for the job through your qualifications and ambition.

-Don’t always feel the need to meet the head boss, you never know who is going to get you to point B (never underestimate an individual). A lot of people are on the come up, you don’t know who can help you in the future.

Never underestimate anyone!

-If you don’t get that individuals card that you want DO NOT SWEAT IT! It’s not the end of the world. Rejection and disappointment is a key element in the road to success!

Hope these tips helped!

That’s why FB clears over 1 billion in revenue every year – they have managed to collate people into groups based upon their likes and dislikes.. Making it easy to track them down by demographic!

Once you find them you and a team of people can direct market

FB has a weakness in that everything is done by software robot – and not actual human beings… Thus, you can get around their quirky behavior by developing a solid algorithm for marketing – and learning from your mistakes
